True to the production team’s word of using real world locations instead of the unnatural CGI environments of the Prequel Trilogy, a production crew for Star Wars Episode VII will visit Iceland next month to take “plate shots.”

In another shameless attempt to get some weekend clicks, we’re teasing tomorrow’s review.  YES, the figure is from 2010.  So what?  Paul Harrison is reviewing figures FROM THE LAST CENTURY and you all think it’s the greatest thing going.

The official Star Wars Instagram page has uploaded a video of the vintage Kenner Imperial Shuttle commercial.  For my fellow old farts, this is sure to be a trip down memory lane.  Even the worbly soundtrack on the low resolution VHS copy which had me wishing I could adjust the tracking was reminiscent of my childhood.

Our reviews of the 6” scale wave three are now complete, and who’d have thunk it?  The Stormtrooper earned the lowest score. Check out the fairly impressive Episode III Obi-Wan Kenobi.

My recent announcement that I would be building out my Star Wars basement included pictures of the room as it stands prior to beginning the project.  For this update, we must get into the DeLorean and flash back to the last time we experienced a Star Wars movie year, with pictures of my collection (almost entirely Hasbro 3.75”) as it was in my apartment in late-ish 2005…
