Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives are running an informal poll regarding a proposed exclusive for Entertainment Earth.  And this isn’t a ridiculous proposal that would require a huge tolling investment from Hasbro and never see the light of day.  This is totally plausible and is something Hasbro could do with no new tooling and would provide a value to a segment of collectors.

Ukraine will hold presidential elections on May 25, and among the field of candidates hoping to lead the country out of turmoil, there is Darth Vader.  The Ukrainian Internet Party (UIP) announced over the weekend that it would be fielding the Dark Lord of the Sith as a candidate.

I remember when America used to be cool like this. But I’m not sure that Vader helmet is movie quality.

The official YouTube channel has released a trailer for Star Wars:  Assault Team, a turn based card game for iOS, Android and Windows devices.  The game seems vaguely reminiscent of The Bard’s Tale which was the greatest video game ever.  Emphasis on vaguely. 

The site Jezebel asks why the Slave Leia is the only Princess Leia toy available at Toys R Us and says it’s indicative of the sexism within geek culture.  Why do five seconds of research into the dozens of princess Leia figures produced since 1995 when you can be indignant now?  This is America, kids.  It’s better to be in the right than to be right.

Oh, and in the rare event those from Jezebel are reading this, while there may be no scantily clad Chewbacca figure on the market, there was a figure of Luke Skywalker in his underwear.  I know.  I know.  Research is hard, but getting indignant is so easy and makes you feel better than your fellow humans.
