The Incredible Velocity Of Peg Warming

I stopped by a Walmart that I usually only check about once a week and my findings were both good and bad.  I can remember back in the later POTF2 days or when POTJ was in full swing and my local Walmart store had a wall of pegs dedicated to the line.  When they stocked, it was a major event.  Turning down the aisle and seeing freshly stocked pegs meant potentially ten or more cases had been stocked.  I can remember getting my full allotment of POTJ Biker Scouts the very first time I spotted them.  The consequence of this volume was that that the dud figures managed to pile up.

So the good news is that this particular store is clearly taking Black Series product and for that I"m thankful.  But it’s only taking one case every full moon.  The fact that Hasbro is producing product that is so undesirable that it can qualify as a pegwarmer at this glacial replenishment rate is something.  Three cases since the New Year and not a single “41st Elite Corps” Clone Trooper has sold.
