This comes due to a timely heads up from our friends at Jedi Temple Archives.  The Walgreens exclusive prototype Boba Fett is up for pre-order on walgreens.com.  These probably won’t last long.

Our recent DPCI report revealed that the Class I vehicle designation was returning which lead us to speculate that the figure and mini-vehicle platform was returning because that was what Class I previously designated.  A check of the Target scanners throws that in question, however.  Click through for the details.

You’ve probably already see this on Rebelscum or one of the other sites linking to them already.  My early to bed policy precluded me from posting this in a timely manner.  Even though nothing shown is “new” in the sense of being unknown, seeing the fall product is a bit exciting.  And am I the only one that finds it curious that Ree Yees and Starsher are not shown carded when they are next up in the line?

Wow.  According to the AFA population report, there are only 6 AFA 90 graded carded Yak Face figures in existence and if you have the funds, no you can own one.  No Yak Face figure has ever graded higher.  But be warned.  You might want to take a seat before looking at the Buy-It-Now price.  .

Every good reset (see post below) is preceded by a cleansing clearance.  And with that, the Toys R Us exclusive Vintage Collection X-Wing Fighter (Red 2) is on clearance for $39.98 down from $59.99.  Yes, that is my thumb in the upper left.  If you want the full sized image, hit the read more link.

Our friends at Yakface have revealed the planogram plans for next month’s Toys R Us reset.  You have to head over there for the details, but I’ll just say that it’s always good when Star Wars has media support.  It looks like we shall reclaim the feature displays at the front of stores!

Sideshow has been rolling out a slew of announcements as SDCC approaches.  Among the more awesome previews that were recently posted are some OT favorites. If you’re not already a Sideshow fan, the 1/6 scale Biker Scout and 1/6 Speederbike may get you hooked.  These are not yet up for pre-order, but the preview images may get you drooling’...

The first Star Wars: Force for Change campaign will raise funds and awareness for UNICEF’s Innovation Labs and its innovative projects benefiting children in need.  As was announced earlier, the campaign gives you a chance to be in Episode VII, but now JJ Abrams ups the ante with a chance for an early screening of the finished movie in this new video which features an X-Wing like vehicle.  A real one.  Not a CGI one.

Comic Book Movie has a preview of Zare Leonis, a cadet in the Imperial Army turned spy.  A familiar trend with Rebels, Leonis sports the helmet from the McQuarrie snowtrooper.
