DPCI’s Not Changing At Target

We’ve received some potentially bad news regarding the DPCI’s at Target.  The DPCI’s for the 3.75” and 6” lines are not changing with the August reset.  This means that 087-06-1351, which has been in use for the collector 3.75” line since 2010, will continue to be used for the Black Series card refresh and re-launch.  This is bad news for any store still sitting on existing 3.75” Black Series or even Vintage Collection stock.  There will be no purging clearance to make room for new product.  I also assume this gives little hope to those of us who, like me, have stores that no longer stock the 3.75” line. 

Additionally, the 6” line is still staying with the 087-06-1941 DPCI.  This is also bad news for anyone who, like me, have stores that are sitting on Greedo’s and Leia’s that will likely never sell.
