Slowly but surely getting these published. Here’s our 6” line photos from the SDCC floor.
The god(ess) of war continues to deliver. Ares has provided photos of the Sideshow booth from San Diego Comic Con.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have posted their San Diego Comic Con Q&A with Hasbro. My frequent refrain of the line quitting me before I quit it is becoming more true with each collector event.
The god of war was kind enough cover the SDCC floor for us and she has submitted the following Black Series 3.75” line pics.
The official Hasbro press images are here. Click through for the gallery.
The official site has uploaded the hi-res images from the Hasbro presentation. Hasbro please don’t muck up these figures with shoddy quality. The hand painted samples looks pretty decent.
If you were following the Hasbro presentation live blog at our friends Jedi Temple Archives, you know it was another fizzle for the 3.75” line. The 6” line has some hits with an Emperor, Bossk, Hoth Han, Tauntaun, Hoth Luke and Wampa all announced, but there was nothing new revealed for the smaller scale. Hopefully the booth will hold more reveals for the smaller scale.
One note is that the Chewbacca that we reported will be coming in the fall is Episode IV based (Yavin ceremony). We made an assumption that it would be the Boushh’s prisoner version of Chewbacca.
You’ve probably already see this on Rebelscum or one of the other sites linking to them already. My early to bed policy precluded me from posting this in a timely manner. Even though nothing shown is “new” in the sense of being unknown, seeing the fall product is a bit exciting. And am I the only one that finds it curious that Ree Yees and Starsher are not shown carded when they are next up in the line?
One of the high points of the collector calendar is San Diego Comic Con which starts this week. We’ve polled our forums to see what they hope to see at the show. Hit the read more link to get a sense of the Bantha Skull collecting pulse. The preview image is a huge hint.
