Imperial Sentinel gallery and review>>We’ve just received a report that wave 4 of both the 6” and 3.75” lines were found at an Orlando area Target store. Thanks to Darth Chuck for the report.
On Wednesday we posted an article about a sketch of the new Episode VII Stormtrooper helmet. Now the site Indie Wire purports to show the actual prop. It looks too much like a motorcycle helmet to me. They also show what is reported to be an Episode VII Snowtrooper helmet. Now that one I like.
The estimated delivery date of my SDCC Jabba the Hutt was supposed to be today. But that’s not how the story ends.
It’s been a week since Target has restored the Black Series 3.75” pegs, but where’s the product?
For “Throwback Thursday”, we’re going to try a new concept and give a contemporary review to an older figure. I don’t know if this concept will stick, but we’ll give it a shot. And if you have any older carded figures you want to donate for this feature, we will say nice things about you in the review.
For our first attempt at a Throwback Thursday Review, we take a look at 2005’s Episode III Tarkin figure.
The site Comic Book Movie has posted Episode VII set photos featuring the interior of the Millennium Falcon.
While some Walmart stores didn’t literally stop allocating space for the 3.75” Black Series line as Target did, they did effectively did the same thing by not taking any inventory. We are receiving reports that the pipeline is finally opening up at Walmart stores for the collector line, but it may indicate the warehouse back-up we have heard about. Click through for the details.
Artist Tom Hodges got a glimpse of the Episode VII Stormtrooper design from someone involved in the production and he promptly sketched what he saw. He uploaded his sketch to instagram, but it was quickly taken down. Fortunately a few outlets managed to copy the image, so it lives on. Hit the click through link if you want a glimpse of what a 2015 Stormtrooper could look like. I’m only teasing the image below in case you’re trying to stay hyper-spoiler free.
Update: The accuracy of the sketch is now being called into question.
It’s time for another schadenfreude clearance report. Those poor shampoo bottle 12” figures can’t catch a break. Despite supposedly having a following among the younger crowd and some stores not taking a lot of inventory, they sure do end up on clearance a lot.
Bantha Skull reader AJ has done it again. He previously posted a pic of his unnamed R2 bartender from the Sail Barge and now he has posted a picture of his custom Yerka Mig figure to the comments section of our Unproduced Character guide. This is one of my most wanted figures, but Hasbro will likely never make it.
From 2009 through 2010, Hasbro did Rogue One justice releasing definitive versions of the pilot, gunner and the uniquely decorated Snowspeeder itself. Even though the other two thirds of that grouping are currently unavailable, Hasbro has decided to re-release the gunner in the Black Series. Check out our gallery and review of Dak Ralter.
