Volkerc of Star Wars Figuren has posted a boxed pic of the upcoming Rebels Imperial Troop Transport. Click through for the full sized pic.
I found the Saga Legends Rebels figures at a Toys R Us in central Massachusetts during today’s lunch run. It’s over a month late and hardly enough to meet demand, but it’s something. Unfortunately Ezra’s helmet is yellowed and the limbs on the Stormtrooper are a different shade then the torso. Click through for the full sized image.
This could be titled Dude Where’s My Figures. Unless you want to ignore your years of collecting experience, you know something is amiss with the action figure support for the recently launched Rebels series. If Hasbro could be accused of one thing, it’s OVER supporting new media at launch. There is an issue here and hit the jump for what the possible cause is.
UPDATEL: Please see our new update with further corroboration.
I sense this report is flying a bit under the radar and I have to admit I almost missed it (weekend days in the fall are super hectic in the northeast). Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have photographic proof of the first report of Rebels figures hitting the United States. I didn’t think these figures would succumb to the same fate as the green slime Yoda packaged Clone Wars figures, but this firmly puts any unfounded fears to rest.
Facebook reader Stephane D. messaged us to say that Rebels figures were found in Austria. While the United States continues to wait for the first sighting, it’s good to see that some areas are getting these. Click through for the full sized image.
Update: I had a true Dumb & Dumber moment when I originally posted this. I wrote Australia when I should have written Austria. Put another shrimp on the barbie!
This one isn’t quite as good as our last report, but apparently Dre’s Walmart store is contagious because this is what I spotted at a local Walmart. Hit the read more link for the details.
In case you missed it in our comments section, Bantha Skull reader Chris Y. reports that Rebels figures have hit New Zealand. Click through for the full sized image. Someone alert Murray Hewitt that he has something to razz the Australian consulate about.
While it appears that the Rebels figures are getting pushed out further and further, there is a little reason to celebrate in the northeast. We’ve finally received our first Massachusetts store report about the Rebels vehicles hitting. Sadly, I did not get there in time. Click through for the full sized image.
Do you remember those Imperial propaganda posters that made the rounds a few months back? They are featured on a new Jakks Pacific 4-way display hitting Walmart stores. Hmmmm, Jakks Pacific can get figures to the stores in time for the show. Click through for the full sized image.
An ancient fear has returned. Trooper31 from Germany was lucky enough to get his hands on a Rebels Stormtrooper, but a familiar problem with white armor figures appears to have resurfaced.
We just received report on Facebook from Devin G. that he spotted the Rebels vehicles at his Toys R Us in New Jersey. Our previous report had them hitting Las Vegas, so they are slowly but surely getting closer to yours truly. Click through for the full sized pic of Devin’s score.
Bantha Skull reader Lance Mora found the new Star Wars Rebels vehicles at a Toys R Us in Las Vegas. Thanks for the heads up, Lance!
Hasbro has released an official press release with pricing information and hi-res images of the upcoming Walmart exclusive Hero Series Millennium Falcon.
