Jedi Temple Archives has the scoop on potential further clearance of the MTT at Marshall and TJ Maxx stores. Please note that clearances are regional, so this might not be in affect at all stores. I have jury duty the exact day this clearance goes into affect, which is just another incident in the long line of kicks to the groinal region I suffered with collecting lately. I’m turning into a Mush.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives first alerted us to the awesome Buy One Get One 75% Off Toys R Us coupon that would be appearing in this past Sunday’s paper. If you are not so inclined to purchase the antiquated printed media, you can go to the “weekly ads” section of of the Toys R Us website and print the coupon yourself from the flyer. There is a catch, however.
Apparently the coupon is regional. Depending on your region, there may be no promotion, a Buy One Get One 50% Off promotion or the aforementioned Buy One Get One 75% Off promotion. There is a catch on the catch. Nothing on the coupon itself states that it is regional. Sooooo…if you printed the coupon from the flyer from a supporting region, there’s no reason it should not work in a region that is not running the promotion (right?). If I’ve done this correctly, you will be linked directly to the PDF for the coupon. Click here (or the image below) to being your savings adventure.

Thanks to DarthChuck as always for the info.

Hasbro makes the occasional yip from the wrong belt with their sandtroopers to incorrect lightsaber hilts. Our eagle eyed administrator, nomadscout, who frequently forgets we have a front page, spotted a mistake in the distance of the Yavin Pilot backdrop. As you’re well aware, the battle of Yavin represents the rebels triumph of the FIRST Death Star. Even though the battle in the background is out of focus to simulate depth of field, that Death Star appears to be a construction site. Click through to see for yourself.
The overseas Ebay seller, ws_toys, has the highly anticipated Nightsister figure from the upcoming Darth Maul Returns battlepack for sale. Click through to check it out.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have scored up close loose pics of the upcoming Target exclusive Darth Maul Returns battle pack. At San Diego Comic Con, Hasbro said the Nightsister figure would work aesthetically with non-Clone Wars figure (i.e. realistic). Boy, I have to say they nailed that. This figure looks like it might have been slotted for the Vintage Collection at some point. You have to click through to check it out. The figure looks more faithful to the Sith Witch concept art than it does to the on-screen cartoon version. Amazing. Head on over to check it out.
