To paraphrase George Costanza, We’re back, Baby! We’re back!
With Hasbro’s announcement at Celebration Orlando of the Spring 2018 revival of The Vintage Collection, we are collecting your votes for the top 6 choices for a figure in the new line. We will submit the results to Hasbro later this week, so please vote quickly, and pass the word so our voices can be heard in support for the 3.75” collector line.
Post a choice in the Disqus section, or give someone else’s choice a thumbs up if you support it.
As you know, it maybe a final opportunity to be heard and show your enthusiasm for the line, so vote!
Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s with a heavy heart I am here to report that Carrie Fisher has died after her heart attack on the 23rd.

While poking around at some publicly-available information on a major retailer’s website, we came across some things that may not be what we first assumed they were. A friendly investigative automaton has filled in some holes for us, and I think we’ll all be really excited to see what might be coming down the pike in the near future. Click through for the details and our hot take!
He did it again for the first time for the third time. Our own CJ (Dustin to you city folk) has used his keen detection skills (and limitless time) to uncover some more SKUs for the frustratingly unavailable Walmart exclusive 3.75” Black Series line. Click through to take a gander at what he found. Or just look at the images below if you’re exceedingly lazy. But you’ll be sorry. Because there are two more figures that I couldn’t fit in there!
Forum member and banthaskull ambassador to Germany, Trooper31, has picks of the newest Walmart figures up in our forums. Check it out!
Forum member (and German resident) Trooper31 has brought to our attention that a German Vendor actionfiguren24 has posted a listing for a case of the next wave of Wal-Mart’s popular, yet frustrating, 3.75” Black Series line. Click through to see how disappointed you should be!
Proof that the combination of time and effort can accomplish anything, our own CJ (Dustin) has once again kicked over the Walmart rock and uncovered 8 new SKUs for their exclusive Black Series line. Four you already knew, but four you didn’t (but could probably guess). Click through for the details.
It’s that time of year again! Hasbro’s SDCC Star Wars presentation is scheduled for 12 noon Pacific time (3 PM Eastern (10 PM Estonian)). What can we expect this year?

In a bit of a left turn, we suspect that Hasbro has picked up the licensing for the 1959 United Artists classic Some Like it Hot which features Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon disguising themselves as women to avoid the mob. The first figure in the line looks to be Jack Lemmon’s character, but the hair color appears off (typical Hasbro). Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have the details.
There have been rumors floating around our forums lately that our front page is broken. This post serves as proof of the opposite. It’s just a little rusty.
Well, it seems the day we’ve all been patiently (or impatiently) awaiting is almost upon us. As the hours tick by approaching the release of The Force Awakens, let us know how you feel. Are you excited, nervous, scared, worried….a combination of all four? What are your plans for the big day? Sound off, we want to hear from you!
Our own Darth Mire shared this video in our forums. The commercial is fairly awesome so you should enjoy it for face value. However, I can’t help but think that the commercial also includes a powerful unintentional commentary on the state of Hasbro’s 3.75 offerings. Click through to watch the commercial and read my explanation.
The Toys R Us “Great Big Book of Awesome” (formerly known as the “Big Toy Book”) has leaked online and includes some Star Wars deals that might appeal to some of us.
Star Wars gets it’s own 4-page spread mostly devoted to Hot Wheels, Role Play toys, and Air Hogs- whatever those are, but tucked in there is a nice “20% off All 3.75” Figures and Vehicles” deal.
This deal goes into effect on November 1st, so don’t be that jerk who goes into Toys R Us and expects a sale price 6 days early.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives has been mentioning whisper of numerous “Force Fridays” leading up to the release of the The Force Awakens. In the case of my local Target, they seemed to have gotten the memo today. They were several new figures on the pegs including the Guavian Enforcer and General Hux. As the figures are nine points of articulation too light the remained in the store. Click through for the full sized image.
