Interestingly this deal “Excludes Black Series” so if you were hoping to stock up on leftover deformed Dagobah Lukes, you’re out of luck.
This 20% off “deal” meshes with JTA’s recent report of a $1 price increase on Build-A-Weapon figures, meaning that you’ll be paying just a little less for that Resistance Trooper than you would have on Force Friday. The discount on vehicles may be a little more appealing, as it will knock about $5 off the class I and II vehicles, and pull the X-Wing and TIE Fighter down to a more reasonable range.
Also, this will bring the insanely-popular “Armor Up” line to under $10, which should have those pesky scalpers licking their chops.
Alas, those of us hoping the Toy Book would reveal a Toys R Us exclusive Vintage Collection line will have to continue to wallow in our own disappointment (for now). As far as I can tell, there’s nothing “new” here at all, though I admit I’m not on top of all the Air Hogs releases. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that Rey costume before, but I can’t say for certain.
