The site Jezebel asks why the Slave Leia is the only Princess Leia toy available at Toys R Us and says it’s indicative of the sexism within geek culture. Why do five seconds of research into the dozens of princess Leia figures produced since 1995 when you can be indignant now? This is America, kids. It’s better to be in the right than to be right.
Oh, and in the rare event those from Jezebel are reading this, while there may be no scantily clad Chewbacca figure on the market, there was a figure of Luke Skywalker in his underwear. I know. I know. Research is hard, but getting indignant is so easy and makes you feel better than your fellow humans.
