To celebrate Revenge of the Fifth, the official Star Wars Instagram page has revealed that a 6” Black Series Yoda is coming via a short video.  It looks pretty sweet.

Hasbro’s worst kept secret has been revealed.  First official pics of the upcoming SDCC 2014 6-inch scale Black Series Jabba the Hutt are revealed on EW.com.  It’s an impressive piece, as is the packaging.

The proximity of a Barnes & Noble store to the craft store my wife wanted to go to yielded a decent score.

As first reported by Paul Harrison at Jedi Temple Archives, wave 4 of the Black Series 6” will have Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper carried forward!  The Episode III Obi-Wan Kenobi is no longer being carried forward and it seems the problematic Chewbacca has been delayed.

The site Jezebel asks why the Slave Leia is the only Princess Leia toy available at Toys R Us and says it’s indicative of the sexism within geek culture.  Why do five seconds of research into the dozens of princess Leia figures produced since 1995 when you can be indignant now?  This is America, kids.  It’s better to be in the right than to be right.

Oh, and in the rare event those from Jezebel are reading this, while there may be no scantily clad Chewbacca figure on the market, there was a figure of Luke Skywalker in his underwear.  I know.  I know.  Research is hard, but getting indignant is so easy and makes you feel better than your fellow humans.

With Greedo, we’re 100% caught up with the Black Series (with the exception of the SDCC Boba Fett because Hunter PR lost our address apparently).  Even though this figure is battling the Slave Leia for the peg warming crown, it’s pretty decent.  Check it out.

After reviewing this figure, I can no longer argue with Hasbro’s decision to carry it forward into wave 3.  Well, they should have carried forward Boba Fett, but this Han Solo figure is a worthy alternate,

A savage stomach bug almost resulted in Bantha Skull being shut out from new content for a day for the first time in a long time.  But I’m happy to say that the restorative power of a fever breaking power nap has allowed me to post the pics and review of the 6” Black Series Luke Skywalker in Bespin Fatigues.

One of the most anticipated figures in quite some time is finally in our possession.  Check out the 25 photos and review of the unbelievably in demand 6” Black Series Stormtrooper.  Hasbro, unless you want to completely erode your collecting base on this line, get more of these into stores ASAP.

Our traffic routinely takes a dip on the weekends.  This is the unfortunate downside of being popular with 30 and 40 year old men who are blowing off work to surf the internet.  So I’m going to shamelessly tease tomorrow’s review in hopes of boosting our weekend hits.
