Our friends at Yakface reported that Biggs and Anakin figures are showing early signs of peg warming. This weekend, I came across a Toys R Us store that had two full pegs populated with only Biggs, Anakin and Biker Scout figures with Anakin being the most prevalent and I had to post to in support of the Yakface report. In addition to the back up of these three figures, there were a few miscards in the lot. This was likely due to the bubble adhesive failure and someone taping the figure to the wrong card back.
Since the reset early last month, not a single Target store in my area has received a case of The Black Series. I don’t want the collector 3.75” line to go away, but I don’t see how it can survive in this state. After the jump, I share my thoughts on this unfortunate situation.
The resourcefull folks at either Hasbro or Toys R Us have created a new weapon to battle bubble separation.
Star Wars Figuren also has boxed pics of wave 2 of the 6” Black Series.
Star Wars Figuren scores carded pics of wave 3 including the first reveal of Merumeru, which looks pretty fantastic. Here’s praying the collector 3.75” line survives.
This past Saturday, I stopped into a Toys R Us. What I saw doesn’t exactly bode well for the 3.75” Black Series line. Details after the jump.
