The Vintage Collection Mandalorian wave is starting to show up at Target stores. That’s a good thing, but buried within this positive story are some serious warning signs.

I was pinning my hopes of a Vintage Collection revival on the increasing footprint at brick and mortar, particularly the two TVC pegs on the latest Target feature end cap. I was a fool.

Update: As alerted to by our own Darth Dre, the clearance how now reached 70% so the Han Solo figure is now ringing up at just under $4.
Walmart is everyone’s favorite punching bag when it comes to exclusives, and Target is widely considered the better retail partner. But “better” doesn’t mean “good.”
