As many of you know, last night we learned of the tragic passing of Adam May.  Adam was a luminary in the collecting community.  Bret, I, and many of the members here were huge fans of his work.  We giddily awaited his Galactic Blogger features when he was an active contributor at Galactic Hunter, and his rumor reports were as playful as they were accurate.  In the collecting community, he is best known for two things.  First, he won Target’s Red Card contest, and was immortalized as a 1 out of 1 action figure.  Second he broke the news of the Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon in 2008, and, to the best of my knowledge, was the originator of the “BMF” nickname for that iconic ship that we all still use to this day.  He will have a lasting impact on this hobby,

Our thoughts are with his family, and may Adam May rest in peace.

Toys R Us filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on September 18th.  It’s been an interesting path to this point, including a complicated relationship with Amazon.  Hasbro and Mattel don’t seem too concerned…

I happened to catch a glance of the LEGO Resistance Bomber at Toys R Us and it reveals that this ship is much more prodigious than a mere B-Wing rehash.
