Good friend, Mr. Miko, is back with an update to his “Tank Driver to Mudtrooper” article with even more figures that can be made from the same tooling pool.
Not everything has to be difficult. We have come to expect a pretty high standard of quality from Hasbro on the TVC line, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some corners that can be cut while still satisfying a need for the line. So we’re here to do Hasbro’s job for them and identify a lower cost option that would fit nicely into the line.
The Deluxe expression seems to be for big accessories, big figures, and Boba Fett. I would also like to see it used for normal figures with massive accessory loadouts, including swappable parts.
An update to Red Leader’s X-Wing would be a different take on our recent Legacy Collection repack discussion.
The Black Series has publishing figures which require little to no new tooling. Vintage Collection fans would kill for that.
