Toys R Us is currently running a 2 for $20 sale on Black Series 6” figures. Normally I would say “click through for the details”, but you pretty much have all the details in the headline. So in order to get that click out of you that we desperately need, I promise that you will see me take a poop, a literal poop, on the 6” line. So click through for that.
My God, it’s full of pegs. Friends, the Long Night is over. The Night King has been slain. The thousand generation winter is over and Apollo has lifted his skirt. Could this be considered clickbait? YUP. Am I exaggerating? NOPE! It’s even better than you think (if you are collectors like us who stink of good 3.75” cheer).
We would like to formally announce that we here at Bantha Skull have mastered time travel. First, let me assuage your fears that we will abuse this power. We will only use if for good. In fact, our only time travel act will be to undo those four consecutive championships the Cleveland Browns recently won because of the damage it did to our national psyche. Please click through for our scientific findings which are currently under peer review.
These tend to last less than an hour so act quick. Click here to go to Walmart.com to order the TBS 3.75 Death Trooper.
Is this news? I feel likes it’s news, but I haven’t exactly been keeping my ear to the ground on the subject. It appears that Walmart has ended the clearance of the Black Series 3.75” line. Click through and I will promise you one of two things. We’ll either provide more details on the subject, or I’ll share tasteful boudoir photos of myself. Hit the jump and roll the dice. I double dog dare you.
Will Hasbro be offering early access to the recently confirmed Black Series 6” Captain Rex figure at Hascon in September? Will the “gotta have it first”-ers’ heads explode? Click on through to find out what the internet service has to say on the subject.
UPDATE: As per Hasbro Pulse, the HASCON version of this figure will have some exclusive attributes:
“This item will be an early release with exclusive packaging and accessories!”
This was an issue first raised by our friends at Jedi Temple Archives. The 40th Anniversary Titanium collector figures have terrible paint applications. While the one I saw today is not quite as anatomically hilarious as the one JTA posted, it did strike me funny that it looks like Solo is rolling his eyes. I’m rolling my eyes too, Han ole buddy. Hasbro please fire this factory before spring 2018.
Forum member and banthaskull ambassador to Germany, Trooper31, has picks of the newest Walmart figures up in our forums. Check it out!
Forum member (and German resident) Trooper31 has brought to our attention that a German Vendor actionfiguren24 has posted a listing for a case of the next wave of Wal-Mart’s popular, yet frustrating, 3.75” Black Series line. Click through to see how disappointed you should be!
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives need your vote for Hasbro’s Black Series 6” Fans’ Choice figure. Please click through and follow the instructions to cast your vote. This one is up to YOU!
In what has been the most drawn out and staggered post holiday reset in my memory, my local WM finally revamped the action figure aisle and unsurprisingly The Black Series 3.75” is on clearance for $7.00. Is Walmart dropping the SKU (again!) or are they clearing the decks for the awesome figures we saw at NYCC that are due next month? It could be anything. One this is for sure: EVERYBODY DRINK!
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives has confirmed listings of which figures will be included in the next waves of 3.75” Black Series. These are waves 1 and 2 of 2015 with wave 1 expected in March (ugh).
Please note that the title is a question mark. I don’t want to over represent the status of my local stores as an indictment of the line as a whole. Only Toys R Us stores in my area are taking serious 6” Black Series deluxe stock and at both stores, the boxes are starting to pile up. Given that in this pic the basic 6” figures are leftover from last Christmas, I’m getting more confident in my developing contention that there is no collector depth for the 6” line. Click through for the full sized image.
Hasbro has released some new press images of the upcoming Deluze Luke and Wampa, Han and Tauntaun, and the basic Han as Stormtrooper and Bossk. There is something off about Bossk and I can’t put my finger on it. Is the lower body too puffy compared to the upper torso? Click through for the gallery.
Pictures are starting to come in of the new Black Series cards showing up at retail.
Forum member Darth Mire was kind enough to share this pic of the new Black Series cards littering the pegs at his local Toys R Us. Another forum member, RogueLeader also…
