Now I've heard hushed tales of the Kmart exclusive 6" Black Series figures piling up in large numbers despite a steep sale price, but I am a skeptic by nature so I dismissed such notions. I dismissed them in part because everything I've heard is that the 6" line is the biggest success since Big League Chew. I also dismissed it because I'd sooner kiss a wookiee than make the long trek to a sad store that serves as a harsh reminder of the state of brick and mortar retail for bit players. But behold! It's true. I feel like the archaeologist who discovered that cache of terracotta warriors in China!

Don't mock this too harshly. Friends of yours made great effort to pay $40 for these. Take it easy on them. They must feel like they bought Hasbro at $105. Try to mock them behind their backs so it doesn't hurt their feelings.
