The Target exclusive Imperial Shadow Squadron has been found in Ohio. I came across these little beauties this morning while killing time before lunch. Normally, I’m not one to bother and ask an employee to check the back room for an item…..

The march of 30th Anniversary Collection figures with epic accessories continues today with our Throwback Review of Han Solo with Torture Rack.  This is a case where the figure and accessory are more than the sum of their parts.

According to the site Star Wars Underworld, the upcoming book Tarkin by James Luceno will establish Emperor Palpatine’s first name for the first time in-universe.  Hit the click through link to find out what his friends call him.  Sadly it’s not Sandy.

I questioned the merits of reviewing Elis Helrot and M’iiyoom Onith back to back, but I finally decided we should binge review the two figures with the most impressive accessories in the 30th Anniversary Collection.  If you thought the accessory with Elis Helrot was impressive, you will think the exact same thing with M’iiyoom Onith.

While it appears that the Rebels figures are getting pushed out further and further, there is a little reason to celebrate in the northeast.  We’ve finally received our first Massachusetts store report about the Rebels vehicles hitting.  Sadly, I did not get there in time.  Click through for the full sized image.

You have to love a guy who travels with his own bar.  Today we look at 2007’s Elis Helrot figure which is more notable for the included curved section of the cantina bar than the figure itself.

Our own Darth Dre was fortunate enough to see the Walmart special Rebels endcap set up in his store.  Not only was it set up, but it’s stocked with figures!  The only problem is…well…you’ll see.

The 30th Anniversary Collection was a line of some figures that will go down as legends and other figures that are easily forgotten.  Today’s Throwback Review looks at the Millennium Falcon gunner Han Solo figure which falls into the latter category.

The results are early, but the one figure accumulating from waves 4/5 in my area is the Yoda.  This pic is from my lunch Toys R Us run.  Maybe Hasbro should have given us articulation instead of the “realistic soft goods” they were going to give us anyway.  Good thing this figure is two per case in wave 6 too.  If you don’t get this soft goods reference, read the fourth question down.  Click through for the full sized image.

Please don’t misconstrue this as a complaint.  This is more how it should be.  But after the Stormtrooper hysteria a few months ago, I was shocked to see this trio of Black Series 6” Stormtroopers still sitting at my Walmart after a week.  Click through for the full sized image.

The 30th Anniversary Collection did’t have a Princess Leia or movie based Chewbacca in the basic figure line, but it included two different Biggs Darklighter figures.  We look at the second offering with the Tosche Station deleted scene Imperial Academy Biggs.

We have it on good authority that the Imperial Shadow Squad is making it into the back rooms of Target stores as we speak in advance of the week of November 1 release date.  If you are the impatient sort, you could try your luck with DPCI 087-06-1202 to see if you can secure yours early.

Downshifting from the McQuarrie Signature Series to the 30th Anniversary Collection’s “repaint wave” is a bit like when a radio station goes from blazing rocker to a ballad without first transitioning through Stairway to Heaven, but we’re going to risk it.  For today’s Throwback Review, we look at 2007’s Darth Vader Hologram figure.

I’m honestly a little sad that McQuarrie week (and a day) comes to a close today with 2007’s Concept Starkiller Hero figure.  It’s always fun to reminisce about the nascency of our beloved saga, but this chapter closes for now until we start tackling the 30th Anniversary Collection exclusives.

Toys R Us held a LEGO event today where guest could build their own free Micro Ghost from Star Wars Rebels and also receive a poster showing the 2014 Star Wars mini-figures and Stat Wars Rebels construction sets.  Click through for the full sized images.
