So….we’ve posted this before. We’re not gratuitously trying to spotlight a feature twice, nor are we trying to fill airtime with repeats. However, if you’ve read the comment section of the Skiff Guards Missing In Action Figure feature, you likely know what our next Missing In Action Figure subject will be (hint: it rhymes with bantina). We think the Build-A-Cantina concept helps set the context for that upcoming feature, so we wanted to gratuitously spotlight this feature twice.
The site Jason’s Cantina Customs was an invaluable resource for both this and our upcoming Missing In Action Figure feature.
Our interminable retail black out is about to end. Follow the jump link to get the details of the imminent Target reset.
Our friends at Jedi News have received word that shooting of Episode VII could be starting next month. This is exciting stuff indeed.
The inaugural waves of both the Black Series 6 inch and 3.75 inch lines are in stock at Big Bad Toy Store. Click through for some no fuss Black Series shopping.
Our friends at Star Wars Figuren conducted a Q&A with Hasbro at Celebration Europe. Many of the questions pertain to the German market, but there are nine answers EVERYONE will be excited to read (hint is in the image). We don’t want to steal hits from Star Wars Figuren. However there is an outstanding chance you don’t sprechidy the lingidy. If you want to read the questions and answers directly from the pferd’s mund, please click though to Star Wars Figuren. Actually, please click through regardless just to give them the deserved traffic.
However, if you want the answers in English (translated by our own Trooper31), click the “Read more after the jump” link that is directly below this sentence.
And now as you might imagine, here are the 6” official pics from Celebration Europe 2.
Hasbro has been kind enough to upload the high resolution pics of the 3.75” line reveals they made at Celebration Europe 2.
Yeah, I don’t care either.
Back during Bantha Skull 1.0, we had a popular feature called the “Unproduced Character Guide”. The feature was maintained in our forums. The problem is that no one likes our forums. Not even us. So the feature went on hiatus. It has now been returned as a front page feature we’ve nicknamed “Missing In Action Figure” accessible under the Site Features menu. It is our hope that this can become a community resource for figure campaigns and Fans’ Choice polls, as well as something to stir debate. We will be adding the unmade characters by theme and we’re kicking this off with our personal passion, the Skiff Guards (loosely interpreted). If you have any feedback on our prioritization or which subset should be featured next, please leave comments here, or contact us via the Contact menu above.
It should be noted that the site skiffguards.com deserves a passive credit for this entry as it would not have been completed without their copious research.
Without further delay, lets get to the skiff guard that have no been made in plastic form (and those that have but desperately need upgrades)
We have received hundreds of e-mails complaining that there is no way to send us e-mail. Well, we heard you loud and clear. The “Contact” menu items has been brought back where you can send us either e-mail or contact us via Facebook.
The Official Site has announced that Season 5 of the Clone Wars will be released on October 15th. For those of you who may have quit on the show, season 5 is pretty good in my opinion and worth at least a rental. In addition to the Season 5 boxed set, a boxed set of all five seasons will be released. But if you buy that, you’ll get stuck with season 3 and the great Mandalorian school milk controversy. And not one wants that.
I’ve been meaning to cross promote this for a couple of days, but the news flood took me off track. Anyway, our friends at YakFace post an incredible Endor diorama by OGTrilogy. The most fun I get with the hobby is setting up my displays in dioramas, so this was quite the inspiration.
Star Wars Figuren has revealed the case assortment for wave 3 of the Black Series 3.75” line. While new figures are STILL only one per case in the same ratio as the carry forward figures for some god unknown reason, some of the carry forward figures are welcome such as Mara Jade. However, some figures are atrocious carry forwards. Is this a collector line or not, Hasbro?
