If you want to punish yourselves, go ahead and read Part I and Part II.
It's the newest craze taking the kids by storm! Are you ready to play "FACED!"?
Summary: I'm looking to get input on the best way to categorize Hasbro 3.75" items as either a Figure, Accessory, Creature, or Environment. If an item just doesn't belong anywhere, then it's Dreck*. And while some items may be poorly thought of, they still likely qualify as one of the categories - for example the Blue Saga Maniac "Hassan Chop" DS2 Luke Skywalker. It's dreck, but it's still a figure (with an environmental piece). There are no wrong answers (unless you're MAKMCSWF).
*Joking aside, please consider "dreck" as something that probably shouldn't be of interest to the majority of 3.75" realistically styled items. Obviously everyone will have differing opinions. Many people may love animated figures, but do they belong next to realistically sculpted figures? Also, consider whether or not the packaging has an impact on the classification.
Guidelines: Presented below are a series of 25 3.75" packages. Tell us how you would categorize each item within a given package. You can list your answers for 1-25 in the comments.
Some notes:
Each package shown may contain multiple items, but each individual item within that package may have only one classification
Pack-ins (coins/droid parts/freeze frames) are not considered.
Wearables (capes, shawls, helmets), traditional weapons (blasters, rifles, staffs, lightsabers), and other small items (tablets, blast effects, communicators) are considered traditional accessories and are not considered.
If you've followed through with this exercise, consider yourself worthy of recognition in the Banthaskull archives. Your efforts are appreciated, in all seriousness. I'll tally up the answers later and see how wildly inconclusive our determinations are.
And here's one for Extra Credit: In this case, there are wrong answers.
