In a style of rumor report I haven’t seen since that prognosticating droid, 42N-TLR, Jedi Temple Archives drops a ton of rumors regarding what we may see at SDCC.

While using the annoying and all-to-frequent caveat “while no deal is done yet”, Variety states definitively that Girls actor, Adam Driver, will be the villain in Episode VII in the vein of Darth Vader.  I like Driver as an actor.  I like Darth Vader. Lets make this picture!

Microsoft exec Phil Spencer has revealed he’s a fan of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and is prepared to investigate the creation of an Anniversary Edition of the RPG.

I would personally do back flips for an upgrade of the game for modern consoles.  I first played the game upconverted on the 360 and it was a tad jittery.  An native HD version would be cool

All the interviews from the Rebels production team credit Ralph McQuarrie concept art for the design inspiration with the concept Stormtrooper being front and center.  But our friends at Jedi Temple Archives ask whether or not Joe Johnston deserves some of that credit.  They provide some concept art that has me giddy for the Rebels vehicle line.  Plus they make references to Marcia Lucas’ immense contribution to our beloved movies which has gone largely uncredited, so you know they’re wickid smaht.

I try not to flood the front page here with the incessant Episode VII rumors that flood my inbox.  Especially ones like this that seem to be on the perpetual rumor / denial / rumor / denial loop.  Nevertheless, there appears to be heat to the combined Cumberbatch and Oldman rumors again.  This time from a well placed source.
