Star Wars Figuren scores carded pics of wave 3 including the first reveal of Merumeru, which looks pretty fantastic.  Here’s praying the collector 3.75” line survives.

It was a late night / early morning, but 48 images of the Vintage Collection Slave I are here.  While I did not write the review on the following page, I echo the sentiments (save for being able to lock the canopy in the up position).  At times, I felt like Tom Hanks in Big playing with the Skyscraper Transformer.

I’d better have all the parts.  That’s all I can say.

Update:  I have all the parts.

We have to give some credence to this report since Latino Review has been out in front of a lot of Episode VII news.  They confirm the rumor report from Jedi News that Ian McDiarmid will be reprising his role as Emperor Palpatine and they know exactly how.  It’s not a clone and there’s an obvious clue in the thumbnail tease.

The Guardian opines on the viability of a “long-form” live action Star Wars television series.  Their ideas have me intrigued and honestly excited at the prospect.  Plus they discuss the concept of Jar Jar’s Sopranos style execution and use the phrase “interminable rubbish”.  You gotta love the Brits.

In a push for an AOTC 3D release that never happened, Hasbro released the Clone Pilot on the VC45 Phase I Clone body.  Check out the results.

Okay, I admit it.  This one is a little off beat.  But as someone who has dreamed his collection had some sort of philanthropic destiny (* cough * Ranch Obi-wan * cough *), I thought this was cool.  Lifelong Star Wars fan, Cory Rogers, and his brother Cory have their collection on display in the Georgia Room of the Augusta-Richmond County Library.

We go back to the beginning by adding 17 images of the first (numerically) figure in the Black Series 3.75” scale.  Padmé Amidala from the Geonosis Arena Battle joins the photo archive.

There is another another?  After closing numerous interstitial ads, the sight Slash Film reports that Pablo Hidalgo, Lucas Films Star Wars expert, suggested that Star Wars Rebels might have some Jedi influence despite only two known Jedi during that time period in the Star Wars universe.

The chairman of Walt Disney Studios, Alan Horn, was quoted via tweet confirming that Episode VII will get a summer 2015 release.  Given that Avengers 2 is scheduled for May 2015, there was some speculation that Disney could push Episode VII to a holiday release so their two tent pole movies wouldn’t be competing with each other.

Back to the Black Series Jr. as the Bespin Trap Darth Vader has been added to the archives.

You may well have heard of it, but maybe you haven’t seen Return of the Ewok, a cute short film starring a very young Warwick Davis with appearances by the primary cast of the Original Trilogy. It’s not the best quality, but worth a viewing.
