Have you ever seen those Star Wars “Photomosaic” posters that are comprised of a bunch of different film cells. When you look at them closely all you can see is the individual frames, but when you pull back, it depicts a character from the movie and you’re like “whaaaaa”? The Star Wars films themselves have been like that in many respects. At the scale of an individual film or trilogy if feels like one story is being told, but when you zoom out, there’s a much larger arc taking place. It happened with the OT. Could this be repeating with the ST? Some recent The Last Jedi rumors may indicate that is the case.
