New York Comic Con is right around the corner. In fact, it starts tomorrow. That means face time with the good folks at Big H. Our own Mr. Nomadscout will be there, so it’s a good time to gather some feedback on one of our lists. MY LIST! Let us know what you think in the comments.
Sometimes you have to admit when you’re wra…Sometimes you have to admit when your wra-wra-WRONG. Wow. Why is that so hard? I originally gave the newly released Range Trooper a score of 8. It deserves better.
While there have been some bleak periods in the early going of the Vintage Collection, there have also been signs of life. Strangely, news from both sides of the sprectrum seems to break simultaneously, making it difficult to get either too excited or too discouraged, often leaving us weary or apathetic. Should we be viewing TVC with optimism or pessimism?
Wave 2 is just hitting and wave 3 has already made the coast to coast trek and has been found on the Atlantic side.

Just revealed at Fan Expo Canada is yet another repack for the Vintage Collection. The Black Series 3.75” Captain Phasma is making her return.

Hasbro, unless you intercede, the Vintage Collection has very little chance at gaining a foothold at brick and mortar retail.

A few months ago we predicted that a wave one figure from the re-launched Vintage Collection was dead on arrival. Unfortunately it appears that our crystal ball is still in tune.
We’ve reached figure VC60 in our retrospective of The Vintage Collection. We’re picking that as a nice round number to blow the whistle and head to the locker room. So take a run to the restroom, grab a snack, and check out the halftime stats…
The reveal of the new TVC Stormtrooper at SDCC was one of the highlights from the panel presentation. But there was something off. A post by Steve Evans on Instagram shows there’s still a chance to save…the Stormtrooper.
