Based on Chris’s review of the Vintage Republic Gunship, I visited a TRU yesterday to pick one up at the more-than-fair and already reduced price of $99.  But I didn’t buy it because the lines were too long.  But what a glorious day today is.  Did you see the TRU flyer for this week?  Some good deals there!  30% off Star Wars.  I went online and picked up the exclusive Gunship for $69.99 as well as the X-Wing for $41.99.  With free shipping, this all came out to less than the original price of the gunship alone.

Because wave three has managed to get to some brick and mortar stores as reported here and on other sites, there is a sense that perennial distribution problems may be getting better.  But I think those reports are isolated and the exception.

The site GottaDeal has posted the Toys R Us Black Friday ad.  Highlights for the Hasbro Star Wars line are the Vintage Collection Gunship and TPM 3D line MTT for $89.99, but many other deals abound (including Star Wars Lego).  The link will take you to the Gunship page, but use the “Previous Page” and “Next Page” buttons at the bottom to navigate the full ad.

The site tformers.com have gotten their hands on a “leaked” Toys R Us document that, for them, details news of Dinobots in Transformers 4.  But for the cool kids, there’s some news at the top of the document about some lofty Star Wars plans and the curious mention of a TV/Movie in 2014 (Star Wars Rebels movie similar to the Clone Wars movie?)

The Shadows of the Dark Side packaged Class II vehicles are on clearance at Toys R Us for $14.98.  The Phantom Menace 3D Packaged Class II vehicles still ring up a full price.

If you wanted to pre-order individual figures from wave 1 of the 3.75” Black Series, toyrus.com has them on sale at 2 for $14.99.

There is nothing earth shattering to this report as it has been reported by multiple sources that the new Class II vehicles in the pointing Vader Revenge of the Sith 3D packaging have been popping up at US Toys R Us stores.  With confirmation that they are on shelf in Massachusetts, it pretty much confirms they have made the coast to coast swing.  This particular store also happened to have a Vintage Collection Obi-Wan’s Starfighter still on the shelf, so I was able to compare the two to determine if the new ship is a new mold or not.  Read my findings after the jump.
