Have there been any reports of finding the Vintage Collection Imperial Assault Tank at brick and mortar?
It's starting to feel like the awesome Vintage Collection Imperial Assault Tank is becoming a de facto on-line exclusive. As frequent visitor Sambuca pointed out, Target's recent reset did not include shelf allocation for the tank. We know that Target had an internal street date of August 5th for this item, but that day has come and gone without a sighting. It is available for order on the Target website.
Meanwhile at Walmart, well it's Walmart. You know how that goes. Walmart is getting an exclusive Vintage Collection TIE Fighter, so one would assume they will be allocating shelf space to Vintage Collection vehicles, but maybe not.
Maybe this is the new way of the world now and larger items will be on-line only. Perhaps in the aftermath of Toys R Us, the two remaining big box toy retailers don't fell the same pressure to have well stocked and diversified toy sections, and are content to have the lower sale volume items available only through their online portals.
