Nomadscout’s Star Wars Room

Nomadscout is embarking on a journey over 7 years in the making! 

My collection, once free and available for viewing, was confined to a storage facility under the supervision of top men since late 2006.  But after finally getting the keys to a house with room, it is now time to build and set up the Star Wars Basement.  You are invited to follow along on this epic quest.  This may take weeks, months, or even longer to complete, but enough pieces are in place to begin.

The first installment is simply to show some pictures of the basement as it stands today (well, at least very recently).  The front room is finished, the back room is partly finished (and partly off limits, as there is a dedicated laundry space.)  I have already set up most of my 501st focus collection, but all of this is subject to movement, and redesign.

Please feel free add any feedback in the comments section, as I would greatly appreciate any input on construction, storage, display, lighting, etc. along the way.  I have very little experience with any of that stuff.  This is by no means going to be a 5-star construction project, I’m just looking for a way to display my 3.75” collection in the most fun way possible.

Updates will follow, as regularly as possible.  The next installment will give an idea of what I am trying to display, so stay tuned!
