Geezum is a Snivvian male who is seen both in Jabba's palace and is also a passenger on the Sail Barge.
Why?
Interesting looking aliens are the spirit, soul, and reason for the Vintage Collection, and we are simply not getting enough of them. In fact, the main line is rapidly turning into a G.I. Joe clone. Aside from the occasional Jawa or Ewok, it's mostly human (or humanoid) heroes and villains, some of whom are armored. The upcoming Mythrol caused a stir simply for being an alien. As a Snivvian, Geezum scratches this itch. Additionally, there is a mystique to the Snivvian species thanks to the vintage Blue Snaggletooth followed by the "correct" figure which is actually from the Holiday Special.
As mentioned above, Geezum appears in Jabba's Palace and is a member of The Figures of The Barge - The Missing. The latter instantly ups the necessity of this figure. The 8800 barge backers are not enough to support a figure in and of themselves, but it's a great start especially since most would want at least two (one for the palace).
Why HasLab?
Once again, Bantha Skull is fully aware of this character. The majority of you reading this are keenly aware of who Geezum is and want the figure. But those pain-in-the-keister casual collectors would have no Earthly clue who this is if they saw him on the pegs. Unfortunately, those lamewads are needed to make a figure viable at traditional retail.
Why NOT HasLab?
There's wrinkle to this. A user on the Rebel Scum forums made a pretty convincing custom of Geezum using almost entirely existing tooling. You can see it HERE. The figure was made using parts from Zutton and Mâiiyoom Onith. If Hasbro can access that tooling, it might lower the risk to the point that they can see if a deeper cut will work at retail. It doesn't have to be main line. Geezum would be an amazing pack in for a Jabba's Palace playset.
