Flickr user Jerac has posted pictures of his build of Grand Admiral Thrawn’s flagship, the imperial star destroyer Chimaera.  This massive hunk of Lego weighs 110 lbs, consists of 40,000 bricks, cost $5,000 and took nearly six months to assemble.  Wow.

According to a fan poll at Empire Online, The Empire Strikes Back is the top film off all time edging out customary favorite The Godfather. A New Hope grabs the number six spot while my beloved Jedi ranks a lowly 120.  The list compiles the top 301 movies and I’m guessing there is a typo somewhere because Attack of the Clones doesn’t make the list.

runDisney has announced that a Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend is coming to the Disneyland Resort in California on January 15-18, 2015.  If you don’t have 13 miles in your legs, there are also 10 and 5K races.
