According the web site Latino Review, Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Han Solo in a Star Wars movie (presumably Episode VII). They say the deal inked is “significant” meaning it’s probably more than a cameo. The announcement comes at the 7 minute mark of the embedded video. As always, skepticism is natural until an official announcement, but they are reporting this fairly definitively.
Somewhere between defeated Jedi and crazy old hermit, Obi-Wan Kenobi must have had some adventures. Ewan McGregor, one of the (few) bright spots of the Prequel Trilogy, would be willing to reprise the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in one of the Star Wars spin-offs set during that time period.
I would totally dig a little intra-trilogy Kenobi adventures. Plus you know the man in black armor would make an appearance.
In the meshugass of upgrading the site, we missed an important announcement. Our friends at Star Wars Action News are auctioning an exclusive Gentle Giant PGM Republic Commando Mini-Bust. 100% of the benefits of the auction will go towards Marjorie’s stair climb on behalf of the American Lung Association.
If you would like to sponsor Marjorie’s stair climb directly, you can do so here.
To bid on the auction just follow the “click through” link below.
Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark) has been tapped again to write for the galaxy far, far away. IGN was able to speak with him recently about the stand alone films, as well as the new trilogy. They also spoke with Simon Kinberg, who has been hired to write for the stand alone films as well. Hero Complex was also able to catch up with Kasdan, talking more about the upcoming films as well as some thoughts on the prequels.
After the jump you will find all of Hasbro’s official Toy Fair Images…in their original mega resolution because I’m lazy.

SURPRISE! As you may have noticed we have a new look. And that look isn’t quite finished, but rather than keep building on the old site, we wanted to start adding content to this new site.
Although you may notice a new look to the page the primary motivation for this update is to be able to add new content to the site quickly and to provide a more interactive web site. To that point, we’ve re-enabled the comment section. This being the internet, please be sure to let us know how much you hate this!
Keep checking back as we will be adding features and capabilities daily.
Probably just some J.J. Abrams to Fringe dot connecting, but an Aussie radio station host has it on “good authority” that John Nobel will be playing the villain in Episode VII.
John Nobel plays Walter Bishop on the J.J. Abrams produced Fringe. He also played the mad self immolating king Denethor in The Return of the King. Whether or not this is just the latest prank emanating from Australian radio, I have to say that Nobel will crush it as a maniacal Sith Lord.
Bantha Skull we be there this Saturday so check in for pics and updates from the floor.
Also, you may have noticed a slow down in the content on Bantha Skull. We’re not going anywhere. The recent lack of content is because we’re working feverishly behind the scenes on a complete site overhaul which will allow us to bring you more content with better interactivity. We were hoping to have this completed by Toy Fair, but the rigors of day jobs make such dreams often fall apart, but stay tuned for big things.
