Back during Bantha Skull 1.0, we had a popular feature called the “Unproduced Character Guide”. The feature was maintained in our forums. The problem is that no one likes our forums. Not even us. So the feature went on hiatus. It has now been returned as a front page feature we’ve nicknamed “Missing In Action Figure” accessible under the Site Features menu. It is our hope that this can become a community resource for figure campaigns and Fans’ Choice polls, as well as something to stir debate. We will be adding the unmade characters by theme and we’re kicking this off with our personal passion, the Skiff Guards (loosely interpreted). If you have any feedback on our prioritization or which subset should be featured next, please leave comments here, or contact us via the Contact menu above.
It should be noted that the site skiffguards.com deserves a passive credit for this entry as it would not have been completed without their copious research.
Without further delay, lets get to the skiff guard that have no been made in plastic form (and those that have but desperately need upgrades)
We have received hundreds of e-mails complaining that there is no way to send us e-mail. Well, we heard you loud and clear. The “Contact” menu items has been brought back where you can send us either e-mail or contact us via Facebook.
The Official Site has announced that Season 5 of the Clone Wars will be released on October 15th. For those of you who may have quit on the show, season 5 is pretty good in my opinion and worth at least a rental. In addition to the Season 5 boxed set, a boxed set of all five seasons will be released. But if you buy that, you’ll get stuck with season 3 and the great Mandalorian school milk controversy. And not one wants that.
I’ve been meaning to cross promote this for a couple of days, but the news flood took me off track. Anyway, our friends at YakFace post an incredible Endor diorama by OGTrilogy. The most fun I get with the hobby is setting up my displays in dioramas, so this was quite the inspiration.
Star Wars Figuren has revealed the case assortment for wave 3 of the Black Series 3.75” line. While new figures are STILL only one per case in the same ratio as the carry forward figures for some god unknown reason, some of the carry forward figures are welcome such as Mara Jade. However, some figures are atrocious carry forwards. Is this a collector line or not, Hasbro?
Wave 3
Darth Vader 1x
Luke Skywalker 1x
Clone Pilot 1x
Luminara Unduli 1x
Clone Trooper 41st 1x
Stormtrooper 1x
Mara Jade 1x
Merumeru 1x
Vizam 1x
Darth Plageuis 1x
Mace Windu 1x
Commander Neyo 1x
Those smarting from the dullest reveal since the Chevy Chevette can rejoice that NEW items are being shown at Celebration Europe and the blokes across the pond at Jedi News UK have you covered. Head over to see some awesome heretofore unseen product including VIZAM!!!!
JTA was right. JTA wsa right. Tell your sister, JTA was right.
At this point, it’s clear our own Darth Mire has a serial returner on his hands. The other day he found Lumat at Walmart. Now he finds more wave 16 figures at Target. I wish my returners were so nice. They only return peg warmers.
And now for the official pics of the Black Series 6” line from Hasbro’s San Diego Comic Con presentation.
We’ve uploaded the official Hasbro San Diego Comic Con pics for the Black Series 3.75” figures. This essentially represents wave 2.
Big Bad Toy Store has a “Star Wars 2013 Evolution Pack” available for pre-order with an October delivery and a price of $34.99. This is most assuredly the Anakin to Vader 4-pack that was announced at Toy Fair. Based on the price, I’m somewhat encouraged that this is not a kid targeted 5 POA item, but I’m getting used to being disappointed lately, so I won’t hold my breath.
