Tegan Jones from Today I Found Out has compiled a list of Star Wars / Indian Jones crossover Easter eggs. I have to admit, I was unaware of a few of these. Please don’t break my Nerd Store card trying to pick the Klopek’s lock.
I think we all assume the droid tandem of C-3PO and R2-D2 will appear in Episode VII. Athony Daniels let slip at NYCC that he is the only actor to “appear in all seven movies” before realizing he divulged a mild spoiler. Hollywood.com erroneously reports this as confirmation of C-3PO’s appearance in Episode VII, but as we all know from the character Dannl Faytonni, it’s not 100% confirmation of C-3PO (but it’s a safe bet).
Last week the official LucasFilm YouTube channel released the original Star Wars (A New Hope) teaser trailer. Today, exactly one week later, they have released the Empire Strikes Back teaser trailer. Sure seems like they are building towards something. We have to assume the Episode VI trailer comes next Wednesday and then….Episode VII on the 30th?!?
Jedi Temple Archives needs YOUR help in determining which figures should be repacked in the Black Series 3 3/4” line. Please go THERE and either leave your suggestion in the comments section if it has not already been posted, or vote up your suggestion if it has. This may be our best chance to escape the rapidly rising secondary market prices on some of the harder to find figures the past few years.
The final episodes of the Clone Wars have wrapped production and are scheduled for early 2014. But there are no details on how they will be delivered (via home video, VOD, aired, etc.). One has to guess that if the episodes were intended for some sort of home release that it would be timed with the holidays, so I expect these to be on the Disney XD slate.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have posted the results of their NYCC Q&A with Hasbro. Some of the answers had me hearing the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme music in my head.
As these rumors originate prior to the LucasFilm sale to Disney, I put it in the “flimsy” category, but Latino Review reveals two working titles Lucas had for Episode VII, Every report says Lucas is working closely with Abrams, so who knows.
Their motivations remain unknown, but the timing has some speculating what it could mean. The official Lucas Film channel on YouTube posted this teaser trailer for Episode IV on the eve of New York Comic Con. The why behind this is unknown. It was introduced via the Lucas Film twitter account prompting readers to “Check out the trailer that started it all!”
1976, the world was introduced to #StarWars... Check out the trailer that started it all! http://t.co/tOsMjDZ2XF

The official pics from Hasbro are here for the 3.75” Black Series line.
No mention of the bonus season 6 episodes. Are those episodes lost to the realm of broken bonus content promises? Like when LFL said the deleted scenes on the AOTC DVD would be good, but miraculously those deleted scenes managed to be even more boring than the movie?
Just a reminder to check back later today for our coverage of Hasbro’s New York Comic Con preview night. Our intrepid reporter (and site admin) nomadsout will bring you all the news that fit to print and even some that isn’t. The sense in the community is that there is a LOT riding on tonight’s presentation. Will we see 2014 product or will we receive devastating news about our beloved hobby?
