This news is so big that it’s actually crashing the official site (I’m not joking),  Many of the recent rumors have turned out to be true.

The site Deadline is reporting that Inside Llewyn Davis star Oscar Isaac is in line for a major role in Episode VII.  Star Wars fans probably know him best as Blue Jones from Sucker Punch.  Deadline also reveals a somewhat surprising degree of involvement from one of the Original Trilogy stars, someone we all thought would be seeking a minimal role in the next chapter.

Those of you who are on my friends list on XBox live know that I have a thing for the Lego video games.  It’s the open world freedom of those games that I love. The fact that there are rumors of an Arkham Asylum style Star Wars game in the offing give me nerd glad.

Starting May the Fourth, Anovos will be offering officially licensed Star Wars replica prop costumes.  There has been a gap in this particular market ever since Museum Replicas lost the license.  The collection will debut with costumes of Bespin Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and the ultimate fan costume, Lord Vader.  Sizes will range from small to XXL.

There is a rumor that LucasFilm is struggling with crafting a space where Boba Fett can be the “hero” of his own spin-off movie considering his allegiances with both gangsters and Sith.  Perhaps LucasFilm should walk across the aisle to their studio cousins at Marvel who have mastered the art of the anti-hero.

Disney chair Alan Horn sat down with Bloomberg television to drop some high level details about the production and indicated that Episodes VIII and IX could revert to May release dates.

More information is coming out about the Disney Store Star Wars exclusives including a line of highly detailed die cast vehicles.  Please note, only unpainted prototypes were show.  The finished product will presumably be a fully painted item.

This story makes me want to get divorced, just so I can get reengaged to my wife Star Wars style.  Or maybe I should just “lose” my current wedding band so I can rock a TIE Advanced x1 on my ring finger.
