While it was recently “revealed” that an Obi-Wan spinoff is in the works, such a movie has not been officially announced.  However, an additional tidbit of news seems to inch that rumor closer to reality, with the possible discovery of the working title…

While still not officially greenlit, we do now have some official news that Obi-Wan Kenobi is being seriously considered as the subject for the third anthology film.  So who might be the veteran Jedi’s opponent?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone is “in the works”, but they also say that pen has not yet been put to paper, so I’m not sure what that phrase means.  I guess I could say my great American novel is also in the works by that logic.  Click through for the THR report.

In the second installment of our runaway hit “Two Jerks” series (this is totally a thing) we at the firm of Nomad and Other Guy toss around our storylines for the third Star Wars Anthology Film.  Our previous discussion fell just shy of generating the 1,001 Disqus comments necessary for me to win 10 AT-ACT’s from Other Guy.  As it was such a close call, he’s shrewdly lowering the ante this time to a single 6” Black Series figure, of his choice, found on clearance.
