Moichendizing. Moichendizing. Moichendizing. I popped into Toys R Us this evening and spotted a totally gratuitous licensed product that I regret not buying. $7.99 will buy you a deck of playing cards that tell the story of Darth Vader in a plastic Darth Vader mask carry case.
Even though my local Toys R Us completed their reset, it seems they’re still tweaking as we get closer to the Rebels release.
I don’t usually get too geeked out about Toys R Us resets because they’re typically bland. That is unless Star Wars is getting a feature display which is what is happening for Star Wars Rebels as first reported by our friends at Yak Face. My local store recently underwent the transformation. Click through for the results.
We’ve just received our first report about wave 4 of the 3.75” Black Series line hitting Toys R Us. Click through for the full sized image.
Our friends at Yakface have revealed the planogram plans for next month’s Toys R Us reset. You have to head over there for the details, but I’ll just say that it’s always good when Star Wars has media support. It looks like we shall reclaim the feature displays at the front of stores!
If you are a Toys R Us Rewards member, keep your eye on your mailbox. The back to school (??) sales flyer sports a coupon good for 20% off any regularly price item from 7/18 until 8/9.
The northeast, specifically metro-west Massachusetts, has joined the rest of the free world in misery with sightings of Mission Series wave 3.
This morning’s store report is brought to you by Carnac the Magnificent.
The answer: Jason Vorhees, Andy Dick and any wave 1 from Hasbro.
The question: You’ll have to hit the read more link for that.
The action figure aisle at my local Toys R Us has restocked. I sat down in the aisle and cried. Were they tears of joy or tears of frustration? You’ll have to click through to find out.
Reports of multiple cases of wave 3 of the 6” Black Series line continue to come in. Between the recent announcement that the Stormtrooper is being carried forward into wave 4 and continued reports of wave 3 shipping, building those Stormrooper armies is starting to seem more realistic. The Read More link is just for the full sized image (not trying to trick you into a free click).
Forum member Bossk_MR sends in with evidence of a bittersweet Black Series 6” mega-score. Be sure to click through. I promise you the preview image is just the tip of the iceberg.
I’m am pleased to say that finally and at long last, this report is mine.
As first reported by Jedi Temple Archives, we have further confirmation that wave 1 of the 6” Black Series is making a renaissance at Toys R Us.
Weekend errands brought me close enough to Toys R Us that I had to stop in. What I saw has me wondering if Wave 2 is going to grind the 6” Black Series line to a halt the way that Wave 1 of the 3.75” Black Series did for that line.
I haven’t been to Toys R Us in while, but I received word that they had reset the action figure aisle. LUCKY ME for what greeted me when I turned down the Star Wars aisle.
