No Telling if this is permanent or a temporary price drop, but it’s good to see that Marshall Lucky has declared war on high prices.  Vintage Collection figures have returned to their former price of $8.99 still under the 1351 DPCI. Thank the maker.

VolkerC, administrator of the German Star Wars site Star Wars Figuren.com (whatever on earth that means), has posted info on what the next three case assortments will contain among other products.  They are waves 2, 2.2 (available for pre-order in the US) and 2.5. The case assortment for wave 2 shows that Hasbro and their retail partners learned NOTHING from the retail quagmire they created from late 2010 on.

The boys over at Sandroopers.com have a sneak peak of the upcoming (and all new) Naboo Star Fighter.  Head on over to take a look.

Special thanks to forum member frankthedamned for pointing this out in the forums.

This is the fifth current standard A-Wing pilot we’ve received.  This time Hasbro changes up the script a bit by giving us a non-human species, but there are other subtle changes as well.  For those you have to click through and check out the Mon Calamari Rebel Pilot.

Sometimes it feels like everyone within the rebellion is either a General or an Admiral, but low and behold here comes a colonel.  Click through to check out Colonel Cracken from the Lost Rebels deleted scene (although I believe he can be seen in the background of the Falcon cockpit of the movie).

According to his Facebook page, Ralph McQuarrie, the visionary artist behind so much of the look of our beloved saga, has passed away at the age of 82.  May you rest in peace, Mr. McQuarrie. Our thoughts go out to his family.

The last figure we need to complete the sandstorm deleted scene is Lando Calrissian.  And with the 89th numbered Vintage Collection figure, it is delivered.  Check it out.

This is one of two figures that we needed to complete the deleted sandstorm scene (yet we still don’t have a completed prisoner skiff grrr).  Click through to check out Princess Leia (Sandstorm Outfit).

Most waves have that one must have figure.  For the Deleted Scene wave, is that Luke Skywalker (Lightsaber Construction)?  You’ll have to click through and make that call for yourself.

Scoop master supreme, volkerc, has the slide from the Toy Fair presentation that has all our interest piqued.  In a departure from the recent pattern, Hasbro announced that the Naboo and Bespin battle packs would contain newly tooled figures.  What’s more, they supposedly contained the best versions of Vader, Fett and Maul.  Click through to see if there’s any truth to that statement (there isn’t). Collectors clearly are not the target for these items.

We did Class I.  Now it’s time for Class II Attack Vehicles.  Check out the newly retooled Armored Assault Tank (AAT).
