Yesterday we posted a gallery and review of the VC Orray & Geonosian Picador. Late Monday night, I was reading through the comments for the first time. I scrolled all the way down to the first comment, and saw the following as I read up:
Great review, thanks Chris!
Great review and photos, Chris!
Chris gave the Orray a 10/10. Does this mean the Orray is EV-9D9 in disguise?
Hi Chris!
Very much looking forward to this one and for all the reasons Chris mentioned.
So thank you, for the inspiration, Chris,
Great to see a review by Chris again
Also: HI CHRIS! Hope you're doing well!
But to Chris's point, the 6 Lucas films are the "core" of Star Wars
Chris, what a great review and gallery!
Great to have a chris review after so long
Kia ora Chris! Great photo gallery and review.
I looked at the authorship, and saw that it did indeed list someone named "Chris" at the top of the review. So there are 3 possibilities:
1. It was Chris.
2. It was a mistake and it was not Chris.
3. CJ logged in and changed it at the last second just to confuse everyone.
We'll eliminate #3 because CJ is a very serious person and would never do anything like that.
So here are five simple tests we can apply to determine if Chris wrote this review:
1. If you clicked the link referenced in the review that leads to the custom orray by LordSixthCustoms, the authorship would reveal the person that owns said custom.
2. Ask yourself if you believe Chris has a dedicated space on his shelf for a Petranaki Arena diorama. If your answer is yes, punch yourself in the crotch.
3. The author chose to reference the "metallic cap to replace the amputated tail" with classy prose. If you know Chris at all, you know that he would absolutely have gone with the low hanging fruit and called it a "Geonosian Butt Plug." Then he would have laughed to himself, and farted.
4. Ask yourself if the Orray gallery and review even exists. If your answer is yes, then it probably wasn't Chris because he's been mostly dead for weeks.
5. If you take the first letter of each paragraph in the review, it spells out "Knicks in Five!"
I should be offended that after Banthaskull has provided Star Wars content for over 68 years, people can't recognize the different writing styles between Chris and I. My takeaway is that you liked the review and gallery, but you crave more Knicks talk. I'm here for it, and Banthaskull listens!
