If you jumped here from the cryptic front page lead-in, don't worry. We're not going to start covering Filthy Sixer stuff. If you even thought that for a second, you should feel shame. We will continue to be a site dedicated to the awesome and unprecedented world-building 3.75" scale. In fact, this is about digging in even deeper to that world-building, which is why we love this hobby.
You may notice two changes however. Since we reintroduced the daily figure reviews, we’ve not only been working to provide galleries of current figures as they are released, but we've also been revisiting our existing galleries by tackling one basic line at a time. To date, we have updated the original TVC run, TBS Phase I, TLC (Red) and have recently moved into TLC (Blue). Going forward, we may need to start randomly jumping around the various older lines. That's the first change you'll notice. Second, those older lines present a problem. While I am very passionate that the packaging is a vital part of documenting the history of the Star Wars line, it's simply not practical, on many levels, for us to track down packaged samples of all these older products. You will start noticing galleries that do not feature packaging samples.
We are doing this because we're preparing the site for something new. In all honestly, it's what Bantha Skull has been building toward since its inception over a decade ago. Starting this Thursday, after we complete the first wave of TLC (Blue), we’ll start sprinkling in some of the aforementioned older figure reviews. After you see a few of these galleries, you’ll likely begin to suspect what this new thing is. It's not a completely unique concept in the fan site community, but it will be done with Bantha Skull’s customary obsessive nature, which we hope will make it different enough for you to really dig it. As for what that thing is, we'll let Dave explain:
