Exactly how rare is this figure? The Star Wars Collector Archives writes:

The term "holy grail" doesn't even apply here. The Holy Grail, no matter how foolhardy the quest, is something that is believed to be acquirable. A genuine carded Glasslite Vlix simply is not, except in this rare case. If you have a mere $60,000 to spare, it can be yours.

That begs the question: Is it worth that? Answer: I DON'T KNOW!

When the supply gets this scare, normal economics go out the window. Witness the recent insanity surrounding the sales of the same copy of some high grade golden age comics. It's as if the mechanics of "what someone is willing to pay" cease to exist and "what someone will sell it for" is the determining factor. It's like a collecting singularity. All I know is that this is neat to see.
