Lets start in the Duke department.  Lego has officially become the #1 toy maker in the world.  Sales in 2014 are up over 15%, breaking the $2 billion dollar mark.  Not bad for the Dutch.

Hot Toys wants to teach us the power of love…of money.  The pre-order for the Back to the Future 1/6 Scale Delorean went up this week.  For only $700 it can be yours! (does not include divorce papers or phone numbers for divorce lawyers)

By a show of hands, how many of you have always wanted to own a Paul Riser action figure?  Wow…ok…that’s a lot of you.  Well guess what?  Now you can!  Minimates (Think Lego minifigs, but with WAY more articulation…and clothes…and hair) is putting out a line of Aliens vs Marines figures, complete with everyone’s favorite shyster, Carter Burke.  Also included are a couple of those pesky Aliens, and a couple of the always impressive Colonial Marines.

Moving on to the silver screen.

I don’t know if this should go in TV or movies…so it’ll go here.  After taking the air by storm, Jack Bauer on the large screen is looking up again.  All the chatter about 24 hitting the theater is being revived once again after a brilliant return to the TV screens.  Finally, we will get to hear him say ‘Dammit Chloe!’ in full surround sound!

Mission: Impossible 5 has taken over Morocco.  After having lost it’s chance at Episode VII, Morocco is bending over backwards for Chris McQuarrie’s newest installment. 

The worlds most popular action star has announced his turn to evil with one tweet.  Dwayne Johnson will be playing Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam/Captain Marvel DC movie…which won’t be connected to the current DC movies (or movie as it currently stands).

File this one under ‘aw crap I’m not allowed in Canada,’ X-Men Apocalypse is set to film, once again, in Montreal.  If only there was a way to get me across the border undetected.

Anyone heard of that show The Walking Dead?  No?  Well they’re making another one.  For real this time.  AMC has ordered a Pilot of the new series.  The script, written by Kirkman, is complete.

The first preview for season 2 of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has hit the web.  Thankfully there is plenty of Patton Oswalt to be seen.  Check it out on YouTube.
