Should Disney Remake The Prequel Trilogy?

The Fansided site, Dork Side of the Force, published an opinion column titled Star Wars: Like it or not, Episode IX might not be the last of the Skywalker series. The premise is that all eleven Star Wars movies released through Episode IX will be in the "Skywalker" vertical. The two confirmed series from Rian Johnson, and the team of Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will be the first to stray from Skywalker family. Should those projects fail to match the success of the ST, the author, Jacob Chatfield, writes:

Disney might circle back to the main series before too long.

This would naturally lead to a continuation of the Rey/Poe/Finn story, but in the author's opinion:

But sequels to the sequels seem ill-advised. ... That doesn’t mean Disney won’t do it for a cash grab ten years from now, they just probably shouldn’t.

That's up for debate, but where the article really piques my interest is here:

That's a spicy meatball. The Disney acquisition of 20th Century Fox, who owns the distribution rights for the first six films, makes the prospect of this a little less ridiculous. I've long contended that the PT is a brilliant plot with a flawed implementation. Mr. Lucas should not take this as an insult. He's a brilliant architect, but maybe a mediocre carpenter. I'd rather be Frank Lloyd Wright than the world's best guy with a table saw.

I would love to see the broad-strokes of the PT story combined with Disney's factory-finish movie making.
