Resets No Match For Incompetence

Posted by Chris on 09/17/14 at 09:38 AM Category: Walmart

Resets bring promise that new footprints that will usher some much needed product to brick and mortar retail.  Unless you shop at Walmart that is.  This particular store did not receive a single Black Series 3.75” case after wave 1 which it managed to sell through.  It chose to cover the Black Series pegs with dusty crusty Discover the Force figures instead of stocking new product.  When the reset finally purged the Discover the Force figures (some covered with silly string) to the clearance section, I had reason for optimism.  After about a month of the Black Series pegs sitting naked it was only a matter of time before Walmart incompetence kicked and made sure the Black Series stays away permanently.

While I can understand a stock person not knowing the difference between the various Hasbro 3.75” Star Wars line, I would think that when this Star Wars Command product had to be wedged in between the neighboring pegs that some form of common sense would have kicked in and the person would realize “this doesn’t belong here”.
