When Bantha Skull reader Darth Matt commented on our report from Monday that the scourge of Wave One-Pocalypse hit North Carolina, I immediately got a sense of dread. It was starting to hit too close to home. Our original hopes were that this was an unfortunate issue at a few isolated stores. Those hopes were quickly dashed as additional reports flooded in. So then we pivoted our optimism to the notion that this was regional. Once it hit the eastern seaboard, those hope were crushed as well. It was only a matter of time before it hit the end of the national distribution pipeline in the northeast.
I had this text exchange with Mr. Nomadscout when one of my stores had jumped up in inventory by two cases on Brick Seek.
Me
One of my stores just jumped up in inventory on Brick Seek. I'm escared to go check it out.
Mr. Nomadscout
You should go check it out.
As you can see, he's quite persuasive, so I checked it out:
I've never been so disappointed to see freshly stocked pegs.
Yes, the two Hoth Rebel Troopers were gone by the time I got there.
We've prepared the following outbreak map for Wave One-Pocalypse so you can take the appropriate measures to prepare your families. As you can see, we don't have much time.
