Have You Noticed Renewed Enthusiasm Around Bantha Skull Lately?

Long time readers know that Bantha Skull basically took 2016 off. Our forums were still active, but our front page slowed to a trickle. We were pouting because our beloved line and scale were essentially taken from us (despite a few Walmart Exclusive 3.75" Black Series figures). Then something wonderful happened. At SDCC '17 not only was it announced that 3.75" super articulated figures would once again be a general retail release, but the Vintage Collection was coming back! We immediately fired up two of our reactors and got back to internetting.

One of our first projects was wishlisting for the resurrected Vintage Collection. We broke our wishlists out into categories and they were complete with mocked up cards. One was our Top 5 Vintage Collection "Original 92" New Sculpt Wish List. We all know the news about the recent announcements of the Vintage Collection Saelt-Marae (Yak Face) and Klaatu figures. But we here failed to immediately realize that this means that two of the top five figures from our "Original 92" wishlist are confirmed! That's a good year all by itself and it's only just starting! No wonder we're so happy around here.

Top 7 "Never Before On Vintage" Repacks - I can confirm that Joe Ninivaggi wrote one of those names down in his cell phone at Toy Fair. Hopefully he remembers to..."chek" it.
