Serenity now. Serenity now. I'm just a middle aged man who wants to play with his new toy!
The package for the Force Link 2.0 Starter Set proudly boast the logos of both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Unfortunately at this time, only half of that is true. This is problematic because you need the smart phone app to install the firmware update on the Force Link device to unlock it. The final step of the 3 step directions for turning on the device is:
3. Once batteries are installed and app is downloaded, follow on-screen instructions to sync to smart-device and update Force Link 2.0 firmware.
The only problem is that the Force Link app does not exist in the Apple App Store. Go to the app page on the Hasbro Star Wars site HERE. Scroll to the bottom and you will find the Force Link 2.0 app. There are links to the app in the two aforementioned stores. Google Play is all aces. The app is HERE. The Apple App Store is not so lucky. The link provided through the Hasbro page is dead. You can check it HERE. Likewise searching the App Store on your Apple device turns up nothing.
