Does This Explain Walmarts Lackluster Solo Rollout So Far?

Like Christmas, it only comes once a year and lasts for two months.

The reports of Walmart's rollout of TVC and the Solo line have been disappointing. Thus far the reports have been a combination of:

Nothing on the shelves
A minimal amount of product on the shelves
New product in the wrong location

In my case, it's been a spartan rollout that included one case of TVC which didn't have an allocated home. The figures were placed in the Star Wars section on some empty pegs that bore an unrelated product sticker. There may be a reason for this. My local Walmart is currently undergoing its annual inventory. Typically stores do not stock a lot of new product during this time. Perhaps when the inventory concludes, there will be another reset with official homes for TVC and maybe even the Wampa-bearing deluxe line (both lacking at this time).

I also have to wonder if this is being timed for Star Wars Day, May the Fourth. We know from THIS REPORT from our friends at Jedi Temple Archives that Toys R Us was planning an event to commemorate the unofficial holiday. Perhaps other retailers are planning something as well.
