Does Anyone Have A Clue?

The fact that the ROTS 3D Saga Legends are in WM clearance sections (at full price) is old news.  But it only occurred to me today that I should be angry about this.  The Legends line is transitioning to the Star Wars Rebels packaging this year, so product in the unfortunate ROTS 3D naturally will need to be retired at some point.  The minor observation regarding this is why didn’t the poorer selling Mission Series figures in the same packaging receive the same fate.

The bigger observation which only today occurred to me is how on Earth can Walmart stores act with great alacrity when clearancing the Legends line to the point that the product went directly to the clearance section in some stores, but ratty dog eared 2012 Discover the Force figures STILL OCCUPY THE BLACK SERIES PEGS?!?  Can someone with half a brain involved on either side of the equation step in and untwist this situation?
