Did Force Friday Fizzle Lead To Saturday Sizzle?

While I did score a lot of product yesterday, my hopes at the beginning of the morning were twofold. I wanted to buy lots of Vintage Collection Hoth Rebel Troopers and one Wampa. I ended the day with one of the former and zero of the latter. My thought was that I was too early. The stores would probably be stocking the items during the day, or so I thought. Today it appears those stores are actually sitting it out for now.

Stop 1 (Target)

Progs! Those are Porgs!

I did pick up the Solo Speeder. Otherwise, a whole lotta nuthin'.

Stop 2 (Target)

Sixers get their stuff, but they don't seem to care.

More nuthin' on the vehicle shelf.

Stop 3 (Target)

No, these are not the same two pics above repeated. Third stop, near identical results.

Once again, sixer stuff managed to get stocked.

And again more nuthin' on the vehicle shelf.

Stop 4 (Walmart)

I think they missed the memo.

Stop 5 (Target)

I decided to go back to a store that did stock yesterday. They put out a case of VIntage Collection. The Hoth Rebel Trooper was already gone, and I bought the Rey. I was hoping one of the two First Order Stormtroopers would be left, but...

I do have to say, I'm a little frustrated that the 6" Range Trooper was so plentiful. I found multiples at several stops. If a Vintage Collection 3.75" Range Trooper were part of the launch product, we'd be hearing angry reports of how it's the hardest figure to track down. As it is, that honor gores to a repacked Hoth Rebel Trooper.
