Business Insider has some interesting details on Lenovo's Jedi Challenges.
The augmented reality game (AR - when virtual images are superimposed over your real world view), which includes goggles, a lightsaber controller, and a reference beacon, was announced at D23 in July. We now know it will cost $199, and will ship later this year. Pre-ordering is possible through Best Buy and Lenovo.
Business Insider gives a review of the product after a hands on demo. There are three game modes: Lightsaber Battles, Holochess, and Strategic Combat. There will be more content down the road. The hands on demo was only for the lightsaber mode.
Here is a video which shows the three game modes in action. Pretty neat. It kills the wii version of lightsaber combat. I kinda want it.
